Let me tell you a little about me...
​I'm from a little place that nobody has ever heard of, but it's the home of Robert Plant (he went to school with my dad), Jude Bellingham (my brother worked with his dad), and Ned's Atomic Dustbin (if you know you know).

I really love this part of the world, and it's perfect when you're working in weddings. I'm perched perfectly for the urban weddings in Birmingham and I love everything the city has to offer, but I also adore the fact that I'm right on the cusp of the gorgeous Worcestershire countryside and the quaint Cotswold towns. We really do get the best of both worlds here!

That all means that we are perfectly placed for beautiful rustic barns, wonderful outdoor weddings, and there's plenty of quirky venues too. What more could you need?!

I'm living my best millennial life...
​I don't want to make myself sound old or anything, but I'm about as millennial as they get.
I'm an elder emo who's nostalgic for the music of the 90's and 00's. I love a proper paperback book and my most up-to-date bit of tech is a slim, pink iPod nano. I haven't yet developed a houseplant obsession, but I'm excited for that phase to kick in.

I think I could happily live off-grid. My ideal day out is a walk in the Wyre Forest or maybe a trip to the theatre. We'd pop out for lunch, scoff copious amounts of coffee and cake, and finish with an evening on the sofa with The Traitors (I've watched almost every series from every country. It could possibly be my specialist subject on Mastermind, second only to Friends).

​My approach to weddings is very much shaped by my own values and priorities. I crave proper human interaction, I love taking time to sit and get to know my couples, and I hope to inspire people to look beyond the copious TikToks we now guzzle. I'm here to find the couples who love sharing stories, who'll meet me for brunch and enthusiastically show me their scrapbooks and visions, and who want to focus on celebrating love in all its glory!

TRAVEL

I spent most of my twenties with my life stuffed into a rucksack. After studying French at uni and living in Dijon for a year, I Interrailed around Europe and set off on a mission to visit 30 European capital cities before turning 30. I've hiked the Great Wall of China, I've trekked through Jordan to Petra, bussed my way around Australia, but my favourite place of all is Canada. Specifically Banff. Put me in front of a lake or a mountain and I will be in heaven.

FOOD

​When I'm on the road there is nothing I love more than tasting the local delicacies. I made a living from it for a while too! For 10 years I had a career in corporate hospitality and I was always based in kitchens writing menus, creating new catering concepts and trying to get people interested in the stuff they eat! Even now at a wedding if I'm asked to run the pass, I slip right back into it like it's an old pair of slippers!
​Now It's more for fun than for work, but I love any excuse to meet my couples for brunch or over coffee. If you book me, expect to do most of your wedding planning in cute cafes. 

BOOKS

I'm very much in my cosy era. I've even taken up cross-stich too....
Nothing makes me happier than a good book and a big brew. My fave coffee shop started a book club in 2024 and I've been going every month ever since. It's my one real treat to myself, it's the best place to make new friends, and a good excuse to indulge in more cake. Recently I've enjoyed 'Where The Crawdads Sing', 'Starling House', and my favourite of all time is 'Birdsong' by Sebastian Faulks. 

How did I become a wedding planner?

After working in hospitality for almost ten years, the pandemic meant that I lost my job. It was super scary at the time, but it gave me an amazing opportunity to do what I really wanted to do - leave the corporate world, start up my own business and become a wedding planner!

I love what I do now. I'm not longer dictated my targets and faceless conversations. I get to meet real people with real heart, and (as corny as it sounds) try to make their dreams come true!

If you ask me, it's the best job ever.
