Hi! I’m Lindsay. And if you recognise those Fleetwood Mac lyrics, we'll get along just fine. I'm from a place you've probably never heard of so we'll just say... somewhere near Birmingham.
I love this part of the world. Brum is a great city, and if you disagree I'm going to have to assume you've never been. I worked there for a number of years and love being so close to the action, but I also adore the fact that I'm right on the cusp of the gorgeous countryside too. We really do get the best of both worlds here! That all means it's a wonderful place to be when you're working in weddings - we have beautiful barns, tremendous tipis and awesome urban spaces all right on our doorstep.
I also really love to travel.
I studied French at university for 4 years and have dabbled in a handful of other languages along the way too. I visited 30 European capital cities before turning 30, and I’ve also backpacked Canada, Australia and New Zealand. More recently I've trekked the Great Wall of China and hiked through Jordan to Petra. I even lived in France for a while. There is nothing I love more than being on the road, experiencing different cultures, and tasting the local delicacies.
Yes, food is a huge part of my life too!
Although I’m always on the go, I’m also adult-ing hard. In the last 10 years I've bought a house, had a career in corporate hospitality management and I have worked in various venues across the Midlands, from family-run hotels to brand new conference facilities holding national product launches for some of the biggest names in their industries. I’ve worked on weddings, parties, dinners and events of all shapes and sizes and have become extremely knowledgeable, but also super passionate, about this crazy industry I work in.
The pandemic meant that I lost my job which was super scary, but it gave me an amazing opportunity to pursue the thing I really want to do - be a wedding planner! Now I'm able to use all of my expertise to help people plan their perfect wedding day whatever they may be, from the most intimate to the extra elaborate.

Getting engaged is like opening the doors to a whole world you never knew existed - and I'm here to show you around! Using the contacts I've made and all the experience under my belt, I can guide you though the process so you don't have to go it alone.
I love hearing your ideas and working with you to make them a reality. I can show you venues, caterers, photographers... all based on what you say you want. Some people want me to get super hands on so there are options for me to plan the whole thing with you. Others prefer to do things their own way, but I'm always here for a chat over coffee or brunch to make sure things are on track. Whatever you need, I got you!
